Voter Registration

We’re happy about the primary election results, but there’s still work to do!

There will be (6) total names on the ballot for Chartiers Valley School Board Director in the general election.

Lisa Trainor and Mitch Montani will be on both Democratic and Republican ballots.
Megan Sexton and Mark Fiorilli will be on the Democratic ballot.
Herb Ohlinger and Mark Dodson will be on the Republican ballot.
The (4) candidates who get the most votes will be on the board.

The Chartiers Valley Board Coalition supports school board candidates who prioritize student achievement, support teachers, and are committed to fiscal responsibility and transparent decision-making.

In the November 4, 2025 general election, those candidates are incumbents:

We’re committed to supporting an effective school board whose members:

Exercise discretion when spending, particularly during times like now when the district is struggling financially.
Focus on students’ needs first; devote our resources to a comprehensive and flexible curriculum that allows each child to excel to their ability.
Promote safe and welcoming spaces for students and teachers.
Give teachers the resources and support they need.
Seek community input and embrace constructive dialogue and feedback.
Commit to being transparent with the community about expenditures, contracts, etc.

No matter who you are, if you live in Chartiers Valley, you’ve got a stake in the school district. You should have a say in who leads it.
